Our Story

Hudson's BBQ is a family owned and operated restaurant located on the town square in Roberta, Georgia, which is a short drive through beautiful agriculture fields from Macon, Warner Robins, Fort Valley, Byron, and Forsyth. Dan Hudson, the owner, opened the restaurant in August of 2009 in honor of his parents who had had a similar restaurant down the road while he grew up.

All of the barbecue recipes and many of the delicious desserts are family recipes passed down by Dan's Mother Pam and Father Kendall, who you will often see at the restaurant ensuring that the best quality food are service is provided to their customers. Along with the delicious mouthwatering barbecue items, Hudson's BBQ also serves traditional southern favorites. Fried Chicken, beef tips and rice, chicken-n- dumplings, meatloaf, and fried pork chops are just some of our customers' favorites southern style meats that are served during lunch every weekday and on Sunday.

In addition, Hudson's has a private dining room available for up to 50 people with reservations and offers dine-in, take out, pan pick up, and full catering options. With our lunch menu changing daily, give us a call for the daily menu. We hope to see you soon at Hudson's BBQ.
